What Do You Understand By Clsp Curricula?

Before your child joins a challenging IGCSE or similar curriculum, you should prepare them for it with a little easier educational program. This way, you can build a sturdy base and make your child used to the whole schooling process. So, the ideal way is to go for a CLSP at an initial stage and then shift your child to another popular study program to build a fruitful future.

CLSP stands for Cambridge Lower Secondary Program, which local and international schools follow to provide quality education to children. The coursework it covers focuses on preparing children in fundamental subjects like mathematics, science, primary language, and more. So, when the child joins the higher level of a Japan international school, they already have enough experience of the schooling and educational process.

Highlights of CLSP curricula

  • Its primary focus is on preparing the fundamental skills of parents and making them familiar with the necessary school etiquette. As a result, it gets easier to adjust as there is no pressure to learn challenging concepts.

  • This curriculum prepares children for a smoother transition into the challenging IGCSE board as they level up in the school. They will not find it difficult to adapt to the new environment and can perform pretty well there.

  • Another factor you should know about this curriculum is its assessment process. There are two different assessment processes, the TIPS semester system and the Cambridge checkpoint.

These are the basics of the Cambridge Lower Secondary Program that anyone enrolling their child under it should know. Ensure you let your child study under this program before making them join the Japan international school for excellent results.
