Assessments can be a nightmare for students, especially in primary standards. Though students feel assessments are a burden, in reality, these are designed for their benefit. Unlike what students think, assessments are not a way to compare their performances with others. 


Instead, it is an effective tool for understanding their learning abilities, and competencies, which helps them understand their strengths and weaknesses. 


Assessments also help teachers understand the core strengths of the students and focus on their weaknesses individually. Hence, every CBSE international school conducts monthly or weekly evaluations to know how well the students are prepared. Some schools have assessments on each subject after class 6 admission to ensure the students focus on each topic equally. 


Students might often focus on their preferred subjects rather than the rest. However, doing this can reduce their knowledge and competencies in such topics. Conducting regular tests motivate students to stay up to date ad revises class lectures regularly, and perform well. 



Conducting weekly or monthly tests also helps students understand students' personalities and implement teaching strategies accordingly.
